Into that Freedom of Heaven

While daily prayer for the nation is essential, it would be fitting to set aside one day cach month specifically for this intention. The 15th or 26th would be especially meaningful, recalling Independence Day (August 15) and Republic Day (January 26). As St. Paul urges: “First of all, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone – for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life.”- 1 Timothy 2:1-2
