Modern families have become small but problems have increased. Today, everyone in one way or other is facing one or more problems. For example, globally, diabetes is gaining the status of an epidemic, reaching 366 million by 2030. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), every year 8 lakhs people commit suicide in the world which is one person every 40 seconds. In India it is 2.5 lakhs, which is one person every 7 seconds. The WHO also reports that India is emerging as the most depressed country in the world followed by China and USA; where every sixth person needs mental health support. If this is the situation, what is the way out?

Today, we need to have a proper understanding about healing and curing. Curing is a passive act of giving authority to a professional, whereas healing is an internal process by which a person enlivens the ‘blocked areas of his/her life. This is a holistic healing process which includes our body, mind and spirit. It is hoped that this book will contribute something more to the holistic self-healing process.
